For Full Members with 25 continuous years of membership and/or aged 60 and above.
No further subscriptions after approval, retaining all Full Membership privileges for life.

For Full Members absent from Kenya for over three consecutive years.
Pay a determined fee and no further subscriptions while abroad.

An Absentee Member who has been a Full Member for at least twenty years.
Enjoy all Full Membership privileges for life without further subscriptions while absent from Kenya, after an initial fee.

By invitation for distinguished individuals.
Elected by the Committee for specific periods.
Includes high-ranking officials such as the President and Deputy President of Kenya, Chief Justice, Governor of Nairobi County, Heads of Diplomatic Missions, and Speakers of the National Assembly and Senate, as well as distinguished visitors.
No entrance or subscription fees.
Membership automatically terminates upon leaving office, but individuals may apply for standard membership.

Conferred by unanimous Committee vote for outstanding service to the Club or the Republic of Kenya.
No further subscriptions and enjoy all Full Member privileges.
Automatically conferred on the President and Deputy President of Kenya, Senior Members of the Club, their spouses, and the Widows or Widowers of Honorary Life Members.

Spouses of Full Members residing with them can be nominated.
Membership remains valid as long as the spouse is a Full Member and the nomination isn't withdrawn.
Widows or Widowers of a Full Member may also be elected.

Nurturing the next generation of members.
Elected Junior Member: For students aged 18-25, elected by the Balloting Committee.
Special subscription rates may apply.
Opportunity to convert to Full Member at age 25 with a reduced entrance fee if a junior member for at least two years.
The CEO will proactively invite conversion to Full Membership.
Nominated Junior Member: Unmarried sons or daughters of Full Members, nominated and approved by the Committee, aged 15 and above.
Membership ceases at age 25 or if the parent's membership ends.
Parents can apply for conversion to Full Membership at age 25, with reduced entrance fees if the junior member was nominated for at least two years.
Club management will contact parents prior to the junior member turning 25 to initiate the conversion process.

Proposed and seconded by two Full Members, approved by the Balloting Committee, for candidates awaiting election.
Membership typically lasts up to three months, extendable by the Committee.
Residents of Nairobi are generally eligible only once for temporary membership, except as an election candidate.

Members of clubs with reciprocity agreements can use the Nairobi Club under specified conditions and subscriptions.
Requires a written introduction from their home club's CEO or Secretary.
Not available to those residing or working within Nairobi County or other defined areas.

How do I become a member of Nairobi Club?
To become a member, you must be proposed and seconded by members in good standing for at least three years, then approved through the Club’s formal application process.
Is there a joining fee?
Yes, there is a one-time joining fee that varies depending on the membership category. Additional annual subscription fees apply. Contact us for the latest pricing.
Can I bring guests to the club?
Yes, guests can be introduced by members, except Temporary or Reciprocating Members. Some limits apply based on residence and frequency; members must ensure proper guest registration.
Do I get access to all facilities with my membership?
Yes, membership grants access to Club facilities. Simply present your membership card for entry and use, subject to rules and any category-specific limitations or committee exceptions.
How can I upgrade my membership?
Junior Members reaching age twenty-five may apply to convert to Full Membership. Requirements include years of Junior status and payment of partial entrance fee, subject to committee approval.
What happens if I need to cancel my membership?
Membership ceases if fees go unpaid or if a member resigns properly. Resignations must clear outstanding dues and be approved by the Committee for formal membership termination.
